Now in its 17th year, the RAD program is a self-defense class for the female members of the University community. It has provided many women with the skills and confidence to avoid, and if necessary, confront those individuals who would attempt to harm them. Offered by the UMass Lowell Police Department, classes are 3 hours long and on 10/26, 11/2, 11/9 and 11/16. A required $25 deposit will be refunded at the last class.
