WHEN: Friday, Sept. 14 from 1 to 2 p.m.
WHAT: Chancellor Marty Meehan will announce UMass Lowell’s receipt of a number of major National Science Foundation grants in August. Two are nanotechnology related, and one of those will teach the “Science of Small Things” to students in an after-school program at the Wang and Robinson middle schools in Lowell.
Researchers leading the newly funded projects will be available to the media, as well as Chancellor Meehan.
