Community, Business and Health Care Leaders Take Part in Forum

7:30 to 9 a.m.

WHAT:   UMass Lowell will showcase its commitment to partnerships at the “Achieving Excellence Though Partnerships” forum which will take place during inauguration week.  Panelists will make presentations and lead discussions on partnerships with community groups, technology companies and health care.  Panelists will include UML faculty, Sen. Steve Panagiotakos, and other local leaders who will explore ways to collaborate on issues that impact the region.     

WHERE:    Wannalancit Conference Room, Wannalancit Building, 600 Suffolk St., Lowell.   
     
INAUGURATION WEEK:  This forum is part of a week-long series of events marking the next chapter in the history of UMass Lowell as Chancellor Martin T. Meehan is inaugurated.  University of Massachusetts President Jack Wilson and Board of Trustees Chair Robert Manning ’84 will join numerous dignitaries, including U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Gov. Deval Patrick, for the inauguration ceremony on Friday, April 4 at 10 a.m. at UML’s Campus Recreation Center.
