MSCPA - The Next Step Workshop for College Students Entering the Accounting Profession


Panel discussions will focus on the different career paths within the profession and what the first year at a firm is really like. HR professionals will discuss how to create a favorable impression and students will have a chance to ask questions in a relaxed environment. A networking session with refreshments compliments of PwC will take place from 7:30-8:30 pm PwC, 125 High Street, Boston, MA Space is limited. The Community Teamwork Inc.-Volunteer Income Tax Assistance-Earned Income Tax Credit Program (VITA) needs community volunteers to train to become tax preparers (some greeter positions available-preparer test not required). The VITA Program provides free tax preparation services to families and individuals earning under $51,000 annually. Strong math skills are not required. All tax returns are prepared online using IRS software that does all computations.
