Oral Communications | Assessed through Primary Trait Analysis, spring 2009, Professional Communications | The work of approximately 50 students was observed by four outside evaluators. | The evaluation rubrics were submitted to the Associate Dean | All students adequately met or exceeded performance expectations. However, the external evaluators felt that a greater degree of professionalism needed to be added to the presentations. The following actions were taken:
1. Individual presentations and written executive summaries will be evaluated next semester.
2. Instructors will add more content to their courses addressing the persuasive argument.
