A free online trial for Web of Science is available from September 8, 2008 until October 7.
Vendor demo:
Two live vendor demos are planned for September 15, 2008.
Demo 1 will be held in the Alumni Lounge at Lydon Library beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. Please RSVP to Margaret_Manion@uml.edu (ext. 3211) by September 10.
Demo 2 will take place in the first-floor reference area of O'Leary Library at 2:30 p.m. (no prior response required).
Web of Science consists of the Science Citation Index (1900 - present), Social Sciences Citation Index (1956 - present), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (1975 - present).
Web of Science runs on the research platform ISI Web of Knowledge. This interface enables the linking of all varied data and search terms together into one seamless search that allows researchers to analyze and share information across disciplines in the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities.
