Alumni

Alumni of the University of Massachusetts Lowell and all of its predecessor schools are welcome at the Libraries. The staff is pleased to offer a wide range of services. These include borrowing privileges, (UML Alumni ID required) reference assistance, access to online research, and invitations to library events. Alumni are welcome to use the libraries’ collections of books, journals and specials collections such as UML masters and doctoral dissertations in the O’Leary and Lydon Libraries as well as the computers in the Electronic Reference Centers.  Printing from computers is available. Access to the Libraries’ databases is available to alumni only in the Libraries. Alumni also may use some of the collections housed at the Center for Lowell History.   

Photocopiers are available at each library.  The cost is $.15 per page.  Microfilm printers are available free of charge.

Alumni are encouraged to join the Friends of the UML Libraries.
