Biosketch
John teaches in the Curriculum and Instruction Program where he advises graduate students who are candidates for initial certification in English. He also coordinates the undergraduate minor in education and supervises student teachers. He teaches the following courses: Curriculum and Teaching: English, Adolescent Development and Student Behavior, The Teaching of Writing, and Teaching Reading in the Content Areas.
John has 19 years of experience teaching English at the secondary level and six years as an adjunct instructor at UMass Lowell before becoming a lecturer.
