Associate CIO & Information Security Officer
As the ACIO and Information Security Officer, Jim is responsible for the development and maintenance of UMass Lowell's information security strategy and architecture, IT policies and best practices, security training and awareness programs, as well as ongoing risk assessment and compliance tasks.
Hired by UMass Lowell in 2002, Jim has over thirty years’ experience in engineering and IT management, software development, and IT security operations.
Jim has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in Mathematics/Physics.
