Principal Network Engineer
Steve is a key contributor in network performance management, capacity planning and management, and network traffic analysis that anticipates and meets the academic, research, and administrative needs of the UMass Lowell community. Steve provides guidance and direction in the technology requirements for Capital projects and other technology projects related to data, voice, and network security infrastructure. Steve executes the overall vision and strategy to address short and long term network infrastructure initiatives, including campus wired and wireless network expansion/refresh, network monitoring, and forecasting. Steve also is a certified Extreme Network Associate (ENA) member.
Steve has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Mathematics from Saint Anselm College and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of Lowell.
