Programs of Study
We are in the process of developing the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program that will prepare students for the expanding role of pharmacists in the healthcare system.
The Pharm.D. program will allow students to enter the doctor of pharmacy program following completion of prerequisites in two years of pre-pharmacy or completion of a four-year degree program in a qualifying field of study.
The enrollment of students into the program will begin after the university satisfies the pre-accreditation process by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, which is expected in fall 2017.
Our existing programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences include:
- Master’s – support technical roles in research and production settings that will help meet the demand for new drugs that treat human disease and evaluate the safety and effectiveness of drug therapies.
- Professional Science Master’s – gain both technical and business skills to work in the laboratory and assume leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ph.D. – discover new drugs that treat human disease and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of drug therapies.
