Andrea Coppola Mendes, Ph.D., has served as Visiting Professor since the fall of 2013. Previously, Mendes was an Adjunct Faculty Member from 2011-2013. Mendes’s teaching responsibilities are in both the Graduate Physical Therapy program and the Undergraduate Exercise Physiology program. Mendes integrates her clinical expertise into academic instruction. She continues clinical work in acute care.
Mendes is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Education section. She has a strong interest in cardiopulmonary physical therapy as well as post-surgical care of the orthopedic and neurological patient.
