Andrea Coppola Mendes, DPT has served as Visiting Professor since the fall of 2013. Previously, Mendes was an Adjunct Faculty member from 2011-2013. Mendes’s teaching responsibilities are in both the Graduate Physical Therapy program and the Undergraduate Exercise Physiology program. Mendes integrates her clinical expertise into academic instruction. She continues her clinical work in acute care. Mendes is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, (Acute Care and Geriatric sections). Clinical interests include care of the geriatric patient, cardiopulmonary patient as well as post-surgical care of orthopedic, neurological and vascular patients.
