Robert is Vice President and Chief Information Office (CIO) of Northeast Health Systems. Northeast Health is an integrated delivery system comprised of 2 acute care hospitals, an ambulatory care center, a psychiatric hospital and several other community support divisions. Rob is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Information Technology as well as medical records, clinical engineering and telecommunications.
Rob has a diverse background in healthcare information systems covering 18 years. He has worked for a software vendor, a large healthcare provider, founded his own consulting company and worked with a major EMR vendor. This experience has provided him with broad and in-depth experience with information systems and their ability to meet strategic and tactical objectives. Rob has dedicated his career to achieving business objectives through the evaluation and use of technology to improve patient care, reduce costs, achieve strategic directives and improving the quality of the patient care process. He has extensive experience with the selection, building, implementation and support of information systems that support the organizational strategic, clinical and operational objectives.
