This workshop explores skills for a more effective delivery in meetings, conferences and general public events. It is appropriate for both beginners and experienced speakers who are seeking a refresher. We¿ll begin by establishing a benchmark for each participant. Then, we¿ll discuss the physical elements ¿ eye contact, voice and other non-verbal skills -- that promote a greater sense of dynamism, confidence and credibility while presenting a message. As time allows, we may also touch on the effective use of visual aids and taking questions from an audience. The sessions are designed to be highly participatory and fast moving. There will be numerous exercises and some video recording designed to reinforce skills learned.

Fight or flight? In reality, there are more than just two responses to conflict. Each of us, and each DiSC style, reacts to conflict in a unique way. We have our own goals, our own fears, and our own ways to get what we need. This module helps participants understand their reactions to conflict and how these reactions affect those around them. It also helps them discover more constructive ways to deal with conflict.
