Choosing Graduate Courses

UMass Lowell graduate courses are held on campus, off campus and online. All Graduate Course descriptions are available in the Graduate Catalog.

Graduate courses currently being offered are listed by semester at the Registrar’s course schedule site.

Directions to off campus course locations are provided here.

Hold Flags (Service Indicators)

Graduate School Hold, contact the Registrar's Office 978-934-2550.

Immunization Hold, contact Student Health Services 978-934-4991.

International Student Hold, contact the International Students and Scholars Office 978-934-2383.

Returning Matriculating Students
If you are a returning student, please register for courses through the iSiS self-service system. iSiS provides information for first-time users.

All Accepted Students
If you are a new student registering for courses, it is strongly recommended that students choose classes with the assistance of an advisor during walk-in registration nights (see below).

Information/Registration Nights
All newly-accepted students are encouraged to discuss course selection with their program coordinator prior to registering. The Office of Graduate Admissions hosts an Information Night/Walk-in Registration just prior to the start of the semester.

Next Information Night/Walk in Registration:  Wednesday January 13, 2010, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Dugan Hall on South Campus. Detailed information is available on the registration page.

Students who are unable to attend an information night may fax their registration form  (Note: non-degree form is used for both degree and non-degree students) to the Registrar’s Office 978-934-4076. Faxed registration forms will be processed as quickly as possible.
