The Planning Division’s real estate activities address the growth needs of UMass Lowell and support the University’s goal of creating a more unified campus. The University also seeks to leverage acquisitions to support regional economic and community development.
Recent acquisitions include the Inn and Conference Center in downtown Lowell (2009), the Tsongas Center (2010) and the former St. Joseph’s Hospital, now University Crossing (2011).
