A central repository of data on UMass Lowell buildings and rooms, the Space Inventory system delivers critical information on the University’s space – how much space exists, where it is located, and how it is used. This information supports the daily management and operation of the University and facilitates planning for its future.
The system features floor plans as well as building and room inventories. Reflecting the physical configuration of space, the floor plans serve as the basis for all area calculations. Building and room inventories include information such as room number, room use, department occupant and area. This data is stored in tabular form and supports both graphical and tabular reporting.
