Jean Robinson, Facilities Management
Director of Capital Projects
Jean has over 15 years of experience in facility management and daily operations. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, is a licensed Massachusetts Construction Supervisor, certified in Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official Program (MCPPO) and maintains a Building Operators Certificate.
Jean leads a team of highly trained professionals with diverse backgrounds including architecture, engineering, interior design, construction management, facility management and move coordination. The project management team is responsible for design and construction of all renovation and new construction on campus. Their work includes modernization and construction of existing classrooms, labs, offices; energy efficient infrastructure upgrades; residential halls; athletic facilities and parking/ transportation projects to support the growth and transformation of the UMass Lowell campus. The project management team is committed to delivering quality service and projects that are on time and on budget and aligned with the Universities mission and 2020 Strategic Plan. In addition to building the physical transformation of our campus, Jean’s team also takes a leading role in occupancy transition planning, move coordination, signage and way finding across the campus.
