Biosketch
Shelley Barish specializes in production design for theatre with an emphasis on scenic design and secondary specializations in lighting and scene painting. She has worked activly as a designer, painter and carpenter fort numerous theatres including The Ohio Light Opera, Eastman School of Music, Geva Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Mercury Opera, Boarshead Theatre and Bristol Valley Theatre. Her work includes assisting in the execution of the Bernstein Bears and Elmo exhibits at The Strong National Museum of Play. She is an active member of USITT and recent design credits include Unnecessary Farce (premier), Blood Wedding, Babes in Arms, Red Masquerade (premier original work), Private Lives, HMS Pinafore, Born Yesterday, Trojan Women and Der Vogelhandler.
