After switching from mechanical engineering to English, Troy Lafond uses his writing skills to excel with two student organizations.

English alum Ryan MacInnis ’13, a senior product marketing manager at WhatsApp, is helping prepare business students for the evolving intersection of technology, policy and trust.

Mary Everett combined her interest in environmental science with a love of writing. An honors fellowship gave her the support to write a group of short stories – which won her admission to a top-ranked M.F.A. program in creative writing.
