Your advisor is listed in your personal iSiS account. All undergraduate students are required to see their advisor at least once a semester during the pre-registration period. Your advisor will discuss with you the courses you need to take next semester and will sign your advising sheet. For a detailed description of the advising process please read the Advising Guide.
It is possible to organize your courses in slightly different ways.
Membership in a professional organization is an important component of your professional life and continuing education. Most professional organizations also have student chapters.
Professional Engineer Registration
The first step to register as a professional engineer is to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. It is advisable to take this exam within a couple of years of graduation - while the material is still fresh in your head. The ME department and the Francis College of Engineering will pay 75% of the application fee. See Jackie Paradise for details.
