PRESIDENT'S AWARD FOR PUBLIC SERVICE
Professor Donn Clark, the founder of Assistive Technology Program, received the 2002 President's Award for Public Service.
THE DAILY POINTS OF LIGHT AWARD
Assistive Technology Program, was selected by President George Bush and President Billl Clinton as the Daily Points of Light for March 20, 2000.The Daily Points of Light Award honors an individual or an organization that makes a positive and lasting difference in the lives of others.
MANUEL CARBALLO GOVERNOR'S AWARD
Assistive Technology Program, was given the Manuel Carballo Governor's Award for the Public Service in Boston in the year 2000 by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Paul Celluci.
STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION AWARD
The award for the best Student Design was given to Walter McGuire a student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department UMass Lowell on June 29,1999 for the project; Voice Operated Wheelchair Using Digital Signal Processing" during the annual RESNA'99 Convention.
STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION AWARD
The award for the best Student Design was given to Gregg Browinski, Douglas Thompson and Sean O'Connel students in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department UMass Lowell on June 30,1998 for the project "Voice Activated Environmental Control Unit" during the annual RESNA'98 Convention.
