Graduate School of Education

Advisory Boards

The Graduate School of Education (GSE) is fortunate to be served by advisory boards. Read more about them:

GSE Advisory Board
The board is comprised of business, education and community leaders who are alumni or have long associations with the Graduate School of Education. The role of the board is to provide advice and support with respect to programming, facilities planning and fund raising.

Clinical Partnership Board
The board was established to provide guidance to the college with respect to the Initial Teacher Licensure programs. Members of the board are local teachers and administrators and retired teachers who act as clinical supervisors. Members of the board represent partnerships that the Graduate School of Education has with districts and/or members who have worked with our student teachers or interns in some capacity during the past ten years.

Leadership Partnership Fellows
Each year, we ask leaders for partner school districts to convene to provide vital feedback to faculty on many dimensions of our principal preparation program, ensuring that there are close links to the world of practice.

Reading and Language Advisory Partners Board
Established to provide guidance from the field and improve the experience of candidates enrolled in the reading specialist licensure program. The advisory partners work with faculty to make continuous improvement efforts in all aspects of the program. The board is comprised of reading specialists and literacy coaches from local districts as well as representatives from the Merrimack Valley Regional Association.
