After receiving my Bachelor's degrees at University of Rhode Island in 1987, I worked as a software engineer for thirteen years.  Over those years, I was employed in the telephony, medical instrumentation, process control, and semiconductor industries.  Various projects include one of the first computer based telephone applications, a predecessor of Skype, JobFind, and a blood analyzer.
After my software engineering career, I started my career in education at Campbell High School as a mathematics teacher.  Over my eleven year high school experience, I served as the curriculum facilitator, leadership team member, and technical coordinator.  During my years at Campbell, we were a New Hampshire School of Excellence finalist twice and our principal was one of three finalists for national principal of the year.
In the past three years, I have been an online instructor for VLACS, a virtual online high school in New Hampshire.  Recently, I became an online instructor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
