Welcome to Cool Science 2014-2015
Our changing climate presents one of the most important challenges of the 21st century. Science helps us understand how the atmosphere has changed over time and how the future climate might impact our lives. Now, it’s your chance to teach others about the science of climate change through art. For this competition, we want students and teachers to choose one of the following questions to address with their artwork:
- How does climate change impact your local community?
- What historical trends, patterns, and evidence help us understand climate change?
- What question about climate change would you like to ask a scientist?
The top six entries will receive a $50 gift card and will be featured as ads on the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) buses.
The 2014-2015 Cool Science DEADLINE is Friday, November 21, 2014.
