Cool Science is a collaborative effort between the University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Graduate School of Education and the University of Massachusetts Boston's Department of Environmental, Earth, and Ocean Sciences. The Cool Science team brings an inter-disciplinary approach to the challenge of improving public understanding of climate change science. Cool Science aims to engage students, teachers, parents, and the general public with the science of climate change.
is an Associate Professor of Science Education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Graduate School of Education. David brings an expertise in science education and adult learning to the Cool Science project.
is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Research Methods also at the University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Graduate School of Education. Jill is a recognized expert in cognitive psychology and research design. Both these areas are important to the success of the Cool Science project.

. Bob is an accomplished scientist with significant experience in the public’s understanding of climate science. Bob’s interest in informal science learning coupled with his extensive scientific research accomplishments makes him an ideal partner on the Cool Science project.
