The University is proud to announce the start of a new centralized Recyclable and Non-Recyclable waste collection program that launched on Monday, Sept. 22, 2008. This new centralized waste collection program will enable the university community a means to significantly enhance our environmental stewardship interests by increasing our current recycling efforts from a modest 18 percent to an estimated 35 percent +/- annually. 

The success of this program is recognizing that each of us are responsible for the waste products that we generate and that it is incumbent upon us to be environmentally conscious by reducing, reusing and recycling our waste products.  We need your help by setting an example for others to follow by recycling.
