The Engineering Academy of Southern New England is a powerful collaboration of regional engineering education programs, technology education programs, and industry that promises to produce a set of engineering courses, curricula and workforce training programs focused on the integration of design and maunfacturing, team work, and hands-on manufacturing. The Engineering Academy brings together seven educational institutions that have nationally recognized programs in manufacturing engineering and technology education and research, in collaboration with over twenty regional manufacturing companies, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and the state economic development programs of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
