Cap & Gown Countdown

Time to celebrate all you have achieved at the Cap & Gown Countdown at University Crossing, 220 Pawtucket St., Lowell. This special celebration will feature music, food, raffles, portraits, and more.

2024 Commencement

UMass Lowell's 2024 Commencement Ceremonies at the Tsongas Center, 300 MLK Way, Lowell will be held on:

Friday, May 10, 2024, at 10 a.m. 

The Friday morning graduation ceremony is for doctoral and master's students in all colleges. 
  • 9:00 a.m. Doors to the Tsongas Center will be open to ticket holders  
  • 9:15 a.m.  All graduating students will assemble by college under a tent, located on the right side of the Tsongas Center in Lot B.   
  • 10:00 a.m.  Student processional begins from tent into the Tsongas Center.   
  • 12:30 p.m. Approximate end time 

Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 9 a.m. 

The morning graduation ceremony is for undergraduate students in the Francis College of Engineering, the Kennedy College of Sciences, and  the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences
  • 8:00 a.m. Doors to the Tsongas Center will be open to ticket holders  
  • 8:15 a.m.  All graduating students will assemble by college under a tent, located on the right side of the Tsongas Center in Lot B.   
  • 9:00 a.m. Student processional begins from tent into the Tsongas Center.   
  • 11:45 a.m. Approximate end time 

Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 2 p.m. 

The afternoon graduation ceremony is for undergraduate students in the College of Fine Arts Humanities and Social Sciences and the Manning School of Business
  • 1:15 p.m.  All graduating students will assemble by college under a tent, located on the right side of the Tsongas Center in Lot B.  
  • 1:30 p.m.  Doors to the Tsongas Center will be open to ticket holders  
  • 2:00 p.m.  Student processional begins from tent into Tsongas Center.   
  • 4:30 p.m. Approximate end time  
All three Commencement ceremonies will be livestreamed on Facebook and on the UMass Lowell website.
