Printer FriendlyAcademic attire is required for all participants in commencement exercises. All undergraduate students may pick up their caps and gowns at the Graduation Celebration to be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Cumnock Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You will be able to pick up everything you need for graduation all in one place. Also, there will be prizes, free food and more!
Doctoral candidates need to rent or purchase their gowns at the bookstore. The bookstore requests that all Doctoral candidates order their attire in advance (4-6 weeks prior to commencement).
Masters candidates can purchase their cap and gown at the bookstore beginning May 5, 2008. North campus majors need to pick up their attire at the North campus bookstore and South campus majors at the South campus bookstore.
PLEASE NOTE: Online graduates can call the bookstore at (978) 934-2623 to order their caps and gowns to be shipped directly to their home. Please call by May 9, 2008 to guarantee on-time delivery.
In addition Undergraduate Students may pick up their caps and gowns on the following dates:
North and South Campus Bookstore Hours
- May 5 through May 16: Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- May 19 through May 30: Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m.–7 p.m.; Friday 8:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.
*Both stores will be open Saturday, May 17, 2008, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
*Both stores will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2008
NOTE: Latecomers are not guaranteed academic attire. Students, members of the administration and faculty who delay their arrangements beyond May 23 must place their orders directly with University Cap and Gown, 486 Andover St., S. Lawrence, MA (978) 686-4566.
