About The Program

Qualified undergraduate students entering their senior year may apply for admission to the BS/MS option, which is designed to facilitate transfer directly from the Bachelor's Program in Health Education to the Master's Program in Health Management and Policy. We also accept applications from students majoring in Exercise Physiology, Psychology or Information Technology through Corporate Studies and Continuing Education. Students accepted into this program are allowed to take up to two graduate level courses during their senior year which will be credited toward both the BS and MS degrees.

Advantages of this Program

  • BS/MS students are not required to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) for the Master's program.
  • BS/MS students pay undergraduate tuition for the two graduate courses taken during the BS program.
  • BS/MS students complete both degrees in an accelerated time frame, allowing them to begin their working careers earlier than by enrolling in each program sequentially.

Requirements

  • Grade point average of 3.0 or greater
  • Application to Graduate Study during spring of the junior year
