Accounting Program
If you are interested in a business career that will put you in a position of responsibility and leadership--in either a public accounting firm, corporation or non-profit organization--a management degree with a concentration in accounting is ideal.
This concentration provides:

the opportunity to gain real experience in research, internships, and outreach projects conducted with employers across the region
Accounting graduates can choose from a variety of career opportunities, including chief financial officer, treasurer, controller and entrepreneur.
Course Work
Course work in your first two years will concentrate on mathematics, financial and managerial accounting, economics, statistics, and general education requirements. In your junior and senior years, you will move on to areas such as cost accounting, accounting information systems, advanced financial accounting, auditing and federal taxation.
