Bio Sketch
Charles F. Thompson is an associate professor of accounting in the College of Management, where his interests are in governmental accounting, small business accounting, and the use of technology for teaching purposes. Professor Thompson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, where he has served on the Governmental Accounting and Microcomputer Committees. Professor Thompson is a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Greater Lawrence Sanitary District and a former member of the Lawrence Airport Commission, and a former member of the Methuen City Council.
Prior to joining UML, Professor Thompson taught at Northeastern University and was in a public accounting practice.
