A graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Music History, Marc completed a C.A.G.S. program in Interdisciplinary Studies at Fitchburg State College.
Marc Keroack has been a music educator in Massachusetts for over 30 years, most recently in the Chelmsford Public Schools as the K-12 Fine Arts Curriculum Coordinator (Art, Drama and Music) from 1992 to his retirement in 2005. He also taught in the Andover and Somerville Public schools. Mr. Keroack is a Past-President of the 1,600 member Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA) and served as the Interim Executive Director of MMEA from February 2007 to June 2009. He also is an Adjunct Professor in Music Education at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and, at Fitchburg (MA) State College, he is part of the instructional team for the Fine Arts Director Certificate Program. Additionally, he has served as a Mentor/Supervisor for students in the Masters of Music Education program at the Boston Conservatory. Long active as an adjudicator, Mr. Keroack has judged marching and concert events for USSBA (United States Scholastic Band Association), NESBA (New England Scholastic Band Association), MBDA (Maine Band Directors Association) and Great East Festivals. Most recently he has been the Jazz Brass adjudicator for the MMEA Eastern District Senior Festival auditions.
