The IEEE 7th International Conference on Bio-Informatics and Bio-Engineering was held at the Conference Center at the Harvard Medical School in October.  Professor Georges Grinstein was on the steering and program committees. 

CS Professors Karen Daniels, Haim Levkowitz, Gary Livingston and Chemistry Professor Ken Marx were on the program committee as were doctoral students Shawn Konecni (BMET Bioinf), Minseo Park (CS Bioinf option) and John Sharko (CS Bioinf option).

Dr. Jianping Zhou, a recent doctorate in CS (2007) was also on the committee. 

 Professor Grinstein also helped open the conference.
