Prof. Li holds an M.B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina.

Scholarly Interests

Prof. Li's research interests include data mining, databases, and privacy and security issues. He has published in Information Systems Research, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, INFORMS Journal on Computing, the European Journal of Operational Research, among others.

Xiaobai (Bob) Li is an associate professor of management in the department’s Manufacturing/Management Information Systems Group. He has taught database management, programming language, decision support systems, and other MIS courses. Prior to joining UML, Prof. Li taught at the University of Texas at Dallas.
