Dr. Latif’s undergraduate degree is in mathematics from the University of Punjab, Pakistan. She earned her MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan and her Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her doctoral dissertation addressed issues in the area of International Financial Integration.
Dr. Latif’s research interests include investments, international finance and performance evaluation. She is also an affiliated researcher with the Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets (CISDM) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Saira Latif is an assistant professor of management in the department’s Finance Group. She currently teaches Capital Planning in the COM undergraduate program.
