Dr. Stefanie Tate worked for KPMG Peat Marwick, LLC, in their Washington, DC office for six years prior to entering the doctoral program at Michigan State University. She left KPMG in 1996 as an audit manager in the Public Service practice, and although she is not practicing, she is still a licensed CPA in the commonwealth of Virginia. Dr. Tate teaches introductory and intermediate financial accounting as well as senior-level auditing.
