Dean's Message

Business is a great career choice, especially in this era of expanding technologies and increasing globalization. New opportunities emerge every day for UMass Lowell graduates, who are diverse individuals with the broad knowledge, hands-on experience and appropriate skills to succeed in a dynamic environment.

All business programs in the College of Management (COM) at UMass Lowell are fully accredited by the AACSB, the highest business accreditation possible. We are proud to announce that we were most recently reaffirmed for AASCB accreditation in December 2005. 

One of the important aspects of our program is the "human side" of business. We understand that business is about working with people, and our commitment to this is evident throughout the college. Our courses are ripe with opportunities to work on teams, partner with local businesses, and develop strong bonds among students and between students and faculty. What's more, COM is administered with a “students first” philosophy, which makes professors, advisors, staff, administrators and the dean accessible to students.
