Commencement

Commencement

Graduation exercises are held once a year at the end of the spring semester. Undergraduates who have completed degree requirements during the previous fall semester, current spring semester or following summer semester are permitted to attend commencement exercises, and their names are listed in the commencement booklet. Diplomas will be mailed to the address on file within a few weeks following the Commencement Ceremony.

Conferring of Degrees

Diplomas are awarded three times a year:

  1. In May for students completing degree requirements during the spring semester,
  2. In August for students completing degree requirements during the summer term, and
  3. In February for students completing degree requirements during the fall semester.

Individuals who wish to submit verification of degree completion to employers or to graduate schools during the period between the end of their final grading period and the awarding of diplomas may obtain a letter of completion from their college dean.
