American Red Cross Lifeguard Re-Certification Class
Campus Recreation hosts American Red Cross Lifeguard Recertification Classes each spring. This class will be held at the Costello Pool located on UMass Lowell's North Campus, 275 Riverside St.
Lifeguard Review Course (Re-Certification)
This course aims to help participants achieve re-certification in Lifeguarding First Aid/CPR/AED without having to take the full content course. Class is approximately 15 hours. Upon completion of course requirements, participants would receive a two-year Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate from the American Red Cross.
- Current Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate (certification cards must be presented at the start of the course).
- Note: If your Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification has expired, you will not be eligible to take our Review Course. Participants must take the full-content Red Cross Lifeguarding course. Please visit the Red Cross website to view all of their upcoming classes.
Spring 2014 Course Dates:
Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m at
NOTE: Registration has ended for the spring 2014 course!
$175/person (includes cost of lifeguard manual and CPR mask).
NOTE: The CRC does not give refunds after classes have begun!
