Personal Trainer

NETA Certified Personal Trainer

Educational Background

Sophomore studying Exercise Physiology at UMass Lowell, anticipated graduation 2016.

What got you interested in fitness and exercise?

I became interested in fitness through high school sports.  My track coach, Steve Levine, wrote up a weightlifting plan for me my freshman year and I have been focused on fitness ever since.

Why did you want to become a personal trainer at Campus Recreation?

I wanted to become a personal trainer for Campus Recreation because I believe that it will be a great place to start towards my future career goals.  There are many people who work at the CRC who started in the same position I have started in.  They are willing to introduce me to different types of exercises and point me in the right direction to achieve my goals.  I love to be in the gym and I love to learn from others, so working for Campus Recreation was the clear place to start.

What is your philosophy on fitness?

Fitness requires not only a strong body, but a strong mind.

What are some of your hobbies and other interests?

Training, Learning, Sports, & Drawing
