Educational Background

I graduated from Merrimack College with a BS in Athletic Training. I passed the National Board of Certification Exam and became licensed in NH and MA. I have also passed the National Strength and Conditioning Association's CSCS Exam. I am currently in my third and final year of the Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at UMass Lowell.


What got you interested in fitness and exercise?
I have always been a very active person with playing sports such as soccer and basketball as well as with working out in a gym setting. I am very interested in the body, how it works, and how to make it a more efficient mechanism.
Why did you want to become a personal trainer at Campus Recreation?
I enjoy being in a gym setting and helping people attain their fitness goals. 
What is your philosophy on fitness?
My philosophy on fitness is that anyone can make improvements as long as they start with the basics of form and efficient workouts to not only avoid injury but to also get the most out of each workout.
What are some of your hobbies and other interests?
Playing soccer, basketball, ping pong, football, weight training, hiking, and watching sporting events.
