Biosketch
She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) in Parks and Recreation Management in 2009. During her undergrad studies she was involved in Campus Recreation as a student trip leader and challenge course facilitator. She received the Above and Beyond award and Trip Leader of the Year award in 2009 for her work with UNCG Campus Recreation. Rachel received her Master of Science Degree in Counseling from UNCG in 2012 during which time she also was the Graduate Assistant for UNCG’s Outdoor Adventures Program. Rachel has a passion for the outdoors and has been involved in outdoor programs both in and outside the university setting since 2006.
