Communications Strategy

The Communications Strategy team plans, creates and coordinates messaging on behalf of the university and its leaders, from updates about storm closures to social media posts to Today announcements. The team is also responsible for content at uml.edu.

The team handles:

Media Relations
Social Media
Content on the UMass Lowell website (including EventBrite and Forms support)
Hawki Campus TV Monitors
Today@UMass Lowell
Blogs
Executive and Crisis Communications

Communications Strategy team oversees all web content on uml.edu including site specific content, content updates and initial contact with university colleges, departments and administrative units to create new or update/edit existing web sites, maintenance of top-level pages and approval of tasks within Tridion workflow.
The following requests should be made by filling out a web ticket request (login required).
Request access and training to maintain a certain website (must have supervisor/department chair approval)
Request an alias for a web address
Request a fix for a bad link
Have a site added to the university directory
Request a new website
Request a blog
Add keywords to UMass Lowell Search
Submit a Web Ticket
