More than 1,000 students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni joined together Oct.12-13 for UMass Lowell’s annual Fall Festival, which featured an exceptional line-up of food, sports, entertainment and family fun.
Alumni had the chance to reconnect with friends and classmates at various alumni events, such as the Campus Recreation Center 10th Anniversary Alumni Reception; the Hockey East Home Opener: UMass Lowell River Hawks vs. University of Vermont Catamounts; the 14th Annual Jennifer’s 5k Run/Walk; the Golden Alumni Luncheon; alumni athletic events; and the Student Leadership/Greek Life/Athletic Reunion.
Family Day, followed by the UMass Lowell Parent Dessert Reception, gave families an opportunity to enjoy a BBQ, various fun activities, and a live performance from UMass Lowell’s marching band.
“We were thrilled to see so many alumni come back to campus to share the legacy of UMass Lowell with their families and friends during our annual Fall Festival,” said Heather Makrez, director of Alumni Relations. “This year, our reunion programming was one of our largest to date. We look forward to strengthening our connection with alumni and upholding this tradition on campus in years to come.”
