The information in this section should help you understand the steps involved in applying for undergraduate admission to the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

However, we know the process can feel complicated, so if you have questions not answered in the various parts of this section, we encourage you to contact us.

The basic steps in the Admissions Process are the same for everyone, but there are some differences between freshmen, transfers and international students. So be sure to read the section that spells out the process YOU will follow in "Information for...."

All communications concerning an applicant’s status will be directed in writing to the applicant personally; information will not be given over the telephone.
