Fact Sheet on Proximity Regional Rate Program at UMass Lowell• To qualify, New Hampshire students must live within 20 miles of the UML campus. • Qualifying zip codes include: 03865, 03841, 03826, 03811, 03087, 03079, 03076, 03073, 03064, 03063, 03062, 03061, 03060, 03054, 03053, 03052, 03051, 03049, 03041, 03038, 03033. • Undergraduate students who live within 20 miles of UML but are geographically closer to UNH-Manchester (in the towns of Derry, East Derry, East Hampstead, Hampstead, Litchfield, Londonderry and Merrimack) quality for Proximity Rates for all majors except English, History, Nursing, Psychology and Undeclared because these majors are offered at UNH-Manchester. • Students living in Atkinson, Brookline, Hollis, Hudson, Nashua, North Salem, Pelham, Plaistow, Salem and Windham qualify for the Proximity Rate for all majors. • Proximity Regional Rates also apply to all Graduate Programs. • Proximity rate students are eligible for on-campus housing after their first semester at UML. • This offer is based on the proximity provision of the Regional Student Program conducted by the New England Board of Higher Education. Students from any part of New Hampshire enrolled in RSP-qualifying majors (Community Health Education, Meteorology, Music Business, Education, Nuclear Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Radiological Health Physics and Sound Recording Technology) will continue to be eligible for the New England Regional Program tuition and fees. • Qualifying students continuing their UMass Lowell education will be charged Proximity Regional Rates beginning with the Fall '08 semester.
