
UMass Lowell has a rolling admissions policy. This means that applications are processed, and decisions communicated, as applications are completed. However, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.

Application Deadlines for Freshmen
Application for the fall semester: Feb. 15*
*Please note that this deadline is merely a priority deadline meaning that we would like for you to get your application in before this date to ensure a timely decision. However, we will still gladly accept applications after this date and encourage any student who wishes to apply to do so all the way up until June 1, 2008.
Application for the spring semester: Dec. 1
Freshmen application for admission should be made as soon as possible after the first marking period in the senior year of high school.

Transfer Application Deadlines
Application for the fall semester: July 1*
Application for the spring semester: January 7*

Please note - course availability during the beginning of the semester may impact the student's ability to register for his/her preferred courses.
Students in Satisfactory Academic Standing can apply up to the add/drop date. For the date, see the academic calendar.
Students with an academic standing other than Satisfactory must apply three weeks prior to the start of classes. For the first day of classes see the academic calendar.
Please note - course availability during the beginning of the semester may impact the student's ability to register for his/her preferred courses.
International Student Application Deadlines
International students are advised to start the application process no less than 12 months in advance of the expected date enrollment.
