Central Receiving is Moving
Central Receiving is responsible for the timely receipt, inspection and distribution of all inbound material and equipment via a campus courier system, as well as the management of all outgoing freight, with the exception of hazardous materials.
Central Receiving Move to 1001 Pawtucket Boulevard
- Monday, Oct. 6, 2014 - Central Receiving will be moving its operations from Falmouth Hall on North Campus to 1001 Pawtucket Boulevard.
- Thursday, Oct. 2 - Operations will cease at the end of the business day.
- Friday, Oct. 3 - Central Receiving will be closed as we move the operations to the new location. There will be extremely limited shipping and receiving activities on Oct. 3 so please plan accordingly.
- Monday, Oct. 6 - Operations will resume on from its new location. Packages will now be delivered to the campus with the university’s courier service; packages will no longer be available for pick up in Falmouth Hall.
Most of the carriers have been informed of the location change, but to ensure timely deliveries, starting October 6th shipments being sent to Central Receiving should be addressed as follows:

Deliveries that are shipped priority/overnight with the proper facility address will be delivered directly to the department by the carrier (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.)
